How the estimate works
Seedlings = planting length ÷ spacing, rounded up. Add seedlings, labour, transport and maintenance, then apply your contingency percentage. Subtract available funds to find the first-year gap. The three-year total adds two more years of maintenance and contingency; it assumes no price inflation.
